Direct Support Professional Team Leader - (Rochester, NY)

Summary : Under the supervision of the Resident Manager, the DSP Team Leader will foster independence in the residence through individual program plans, recreational activities and one-on-one counseling. The Team Leader will be part of an Interdisciplinary treatment plan. Responsible along with the other staff for the maintenance of the home and the welfare of the residents Critical functions: Performs regular duties as per the Job summary of Direct Support Professionals. Ensures that all support staff in shift enforce the three IP concepts. Ensures that tasks are completed at the end of the shift. Debrief with counselors before the end of shift to discuss accomplishments and not completed tasks. Ensures that recreational activities are done. Ensures that all consumers A.D.L.'S are done and that goals are worked on. Keeps track of resident's clothes inventory. Ensures that residents participate in the preparation of their lunch for next day.
