Assembler - Shift-A (6 am to 11 am) - (Novi, MI)

This position is responsible for safely assembling trucks and trailers by following detailed instructions from supervisors and trainers. These assemblies require the use of a variety of air, electrical and manual tools. You will play a key role within a team that will collaborate together to achieve daily quality and production goals. Strong safety orientation and attention to detail are critical. * Assemble trucks and trailers in a production line environment within a certain cycle time. Proper care and usage of assembly tools, equipment, facility and maintaining general housekeeping. * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands. * Utilize proper tools to align, drill and secure components with correct bolts and torque to specifications.
