Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician - (Fort Valley, GA)

Position summary The Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, including performing routine building maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, HVAC, heating, ventilation and a-c, plumbing, etc. on residential, commercial and industrial equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Install, modify, diagnose, test, repair, calibrate and operate a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and electronic equipment in HVAC systems Respond to campus work orders that relate to mechanical equipment failures Respond to emergency situations such as HVAC outages in order to minimize or prevent loss of property, damage to research activities, and disruption to critical systems Perform alteration, repair, and maintenance of buildings, facilities, and equipment, to include residential, commercial and industrial Work with other trades to troubleshoot and repair HVAC system failures
