Living Resources is a non-profit human services agency dedicated to providing life-enhancing services for people with developmental disabilities in safe and nurturing environments. Job Content: Meal preparation in accordance with prescribed diets and consistencies in accordance to the planned menu. Communicate any dietary concerns/details to the dietitian as needed. Shopping for food and supplies as needed and maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen and dining area, which includes kitchen equipment, in accordance with the agency standards and regulations. Additionally, the Cook will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized pantry/food storage area. Other duties may include inventory checks, attending meetings and trainings as needed and menu planning. The Cook will be assigned a minimal amount of personal care responsibilities , but may need to play a greater role if program is short-staffed.
