Purchasing Coordinator - (Charlotte, NC)

Position description The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for converting MRO purchase requisitions from field operations to purchase orders in SAP. The Purchasing Coordinator will provide visibility to PO status throughout the order processing and distribution pipeline and manage communications and status queries from the field. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for continuous improvement of the function via opportunity analysis and uplift in workflow, tools, systems and process. Major Duties & Responsibilities Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders in SAP based on field-operation-site qualifications for MRO materials Provide visibility to PO status throughout all stages of order management and production/distribution supply chain Communicate with suppliers and warehouse/office locations regarding order status, delivery timing, shipping instructions; maintenance purchase orders in SAP accordingly
