Seamer Operator (1st Shift) - (Elk Grove Village, IL)

* Continuously monitors for seam quality (seam bond, seam lip, overlap size, seam location). * Completes set ups on machine that include layflat size, seam location, and solvent flow calibration. * Utilizes a ruler to take measurements and then records the data. * Adds solvent to the tank using proper PPE. * Flags any material that may be suspect to alert rewind operators of potential areas of concern (splices and other defects that may be discovered) * Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek). Requirements: High-school degree or GED required and 4 to six weeks related experience or training.
