The primary purpose of this position is to sell insurance products for MidCountry Insurance while servicing and growing an existing book . Partners with internal and external centers of influence to build network. Provides optimum customer service. POSITION DUTIES: 1. Prospects and meets with potential customers to discuss their insurance needs and offer solutions Marketing to identified and agreed upon niche markets Solicit and receive referrals from MCB teammates and current customers Networking via professional associations, community groups and other organizations Performing fact finding and gathering details on potential client Determining customer needs and fit through risk analysis Explaining MCI products and services 2. Completes and submits insurance applications and close the sales/obtain the business Enter customer details in appropriate systems and analyze loss run data Market and obtain rates with respective insurance companies
