General Accountant needed at Ethos Risk - (St Petersburg, FL)

Position title: General Accountant Reports To: VP of Finance POSITION OVERVIEW The Staff Accountant will work together with the VP of Finance to maintain timely and accurate financial records for the company. Specific duties will include daily transactional processing of invoices (receivables), receipts of cash and recording of disbursements (payables). In addition, duties will include monthly close procedures of reconciliation of receivables, revenues and other accounts in addition to completing monthly journal entries as required. Additional areas of responsibility will be added as the Staff Accountant becomes more familiar with the organization and with the procedures required. WORK CONDITIONS: This position works in an office environment where temperatures are constant. Frequent prolonged periods of a stationary position working at the computer are required.
