Requisition Id 443 Purpose: The Radiochemical Science and Engineering (RSE) Group within the Isotope Fuel Cycle Technology Division (ICFTD), Nuclear Science and Engineering Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral research associate to support the isotope production programs at the Radiochemical Engineering Development Center (REDC). Position assignments and responsibilities: :Must be a highly capable chemist, physicist, or engineer able to assist in development and implementation of advanced analytical techniques to characterize radioactive materials :The applicant will be expected to independently solve technical problems and be able to effectively communicate their work through oral presentations and peer reviewed publications :Will work in a team environment, interacting with other ORNL staff, both within and outside the group
