AWS Engineer - (East Lansing, MI)

The Role: The Cloud Architect/Engineer is responsible for gathering qualifications, designing, and assisting with the deployment of cloud-based solutions. The Cloud Architect will report to the MiHIN Chief Info Security officer and work together with the MiHIN Architecture and Engineering group to design and deploy highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient applications leveraging the cloud infrastructure. What you will do: Design and implement architectures for creating and provisioning a dynamic cloud-based architecture consisting of virtualized resources that support multi-tiered HA/Clustered applications, services, databases, and capabilities using various hypervisors, platforms, and operating systems Design and implement virtualized servers, clients, tools, and infrastructure, and create a management plan to guide operations and activities associated to the deployed environments and resources Design and implement serverless (Lambda, ECS, etc) services
