Quality Control Technician - Concrete - (Saxonburg, PA)

QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN - Concrete Summary: Under minimal supervision, this QC Tech position is responsible for performing and documenting thorough quality inspections of precast concrete and steel reinforcement products, from pre-pour through post-pour. Furthermore, this Quality Control position is responsible for assisting in and documenting acceptance testing of the concrete. Strong issue solving abilities and excellent attention to detail are required to successfully fulfill this position. Required responsibilities: Read and interpret shop cards; as they pertain to the product being built and relate to product being poured on subsequent days Performs the pre-pour, casting, and post-pour Quality Control inspections and fully completes the corresponding documentation, both hard and digital copies, in a timely fashion Determines and communicates non-conformances discovered during product inspection Helps to monitor production to verify adherence to proper pouring and curing procedures
