Dental Assisting Instructor - (Bellingham, WA)

Dental Assisting Instructor Bellingham Technical College is recruiting for a Tenure Track Dental Assisting Instructor to begin Fall Quarter, 2019. Instructor is responsible to plan, teach, and manage student learning in all aspects of the Associate Degree Dental Assisting Program including classroom, lab and clinic instruction; instruct Dental Assisting students in the approved Bellingham Technical College curriculum and teach the State of Washington required competencies. Requires a min of: Baccalaureate Degree; Certified Dental Assistant DANB or expertise to obtain before September 1, 2019; Completion of a CODA accredited Dental Assistant program or a min of 4 yrs full time recent (within the last 2yrs) Dental Assisting background; Current Washington State Department of Health Dental Assistant Registration; Recent (within the last 2yrs) background in the application of 4 handed dentistry principles and expanded functions as a chair side assistant.
