Planet Engineer with Security Clearance - (Arlington, TX)

We are seeking a--Planet Engineer! Essential Job Functions: * Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role. * With minimal supervision, prepares cable pathway planning, network diagrams/drawings into the Planet IRM tool. * Performs link budgets and system planning reports to assist Systems Architects, Engineers and Network Engineers during all phases of the program. * Able to modify existing site-specific network drawings and specifications. * Responsible for the development and updating of design documentation for data communications networks. * Document cabling and infrastructure according to their actual physical routing and connectivity, to include: ---------------------------- --o ------ Telecommunications Faceplates & Outlets ------------------------------ o ------ Horizontal Cabling (copper pairs, fibers) ------------------------------ o ------ Rise/Backbone Cabling (copper pairs, fibers) ------------------------------ o ------ Connecting Hardware (110, 66, Patch Panels
