Quality Assurance Manager - (Oceanside, CA)

Summary Develops, implements and administers the companys Quality Assurance program. Provides technical support to farms, sales, account management and customers. Directs efforts to maintain and improve quality standards within the Company and Grupo Chia. Primary daily contact between US and Colombia on all product quality issues. Essential Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Overall Ensures that delivered all products meet our defined quality standard for freshness. Manages rotation of product to meet freshness requirement. Develops procedures for evaluating new varieties for product quality and marketing providing necessary details to management and Grupo Chia. Provide flower inspection training to production employees, sales teams and customers. Maintain a quality control display to promote sales and keep sales teams informed on trends, varieties and quality issues.
