Purpose: This position is responsible for final coding of all inpatient service types for academic hospital sites and Children's Hospitals. This position is responsible for understanding the complex documentation guidelines that apply to resident physicians and medical student learners in the teaching, academic medical center and Children's Hospital. Additionally, this position is responsible for applying coding rules and guidelines to academic complex and high acuity documentation.
