Position SummaryOncology Hematology Care (OHC) is currently accepting resumes for a Lead Radiation Therapist. OHC is the region's premier provider of care related to cancer and blood disorders including a broad range of services, state-of-the-art treatments and technologies. The Lead Radiation Therapist Assists in supervision of simulation therapists and radiation therapists in order to effectively deliver a high-quality radiation therapy treatment course for each patient presented. The Lead Therapist performs the duties of radiation therapist in order to maintain a high-quality care environment. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Assists with interviewing, hiring, and training designated employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and rewarding and disciplining employees. -Serves as mentor to employees in radiation oncology department.
