Laboratory assistant - (Naples, FL)

Performs activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Duties include performing venipuncture, specimen processing, recording temperature and performs various other laboratory functions.. Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cleanrooms and equipment. Assist in ordering and stocking of materials and equipment. Requires High-school diploma or GED and 0-two years of background in the field or in a related area of Biology or Chemistry. Phlebotomy background is preferred. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Reports to a supervisor or manager. Detail oriented is a must. This is a full-time position.
