The Housing and Community Development Department has an opening for a Housing Rehabilitation Specialist II. An employee in this class is primarily responsible for inspecting residential units, single-family and multi-family for compliance with housing codes, Section eight Housing Quality Standards, and other applicable building codes and regulations for the participation in housing rehabilitation programs and services offered by Orange County and funded by federal, state, and local sources. The Housing Rehabilitation Specialist II is responsible for conducting a variety of administrative and technical tasks related to all aspects of housing rehabilitation, inspections, and other applicable projects and providing excellent customer service to participants.
