Urgent Care opening in Mayodan, North Carolina.A clinic in North Carolina is seeking an urgent care physician assistant who can provide locum tenens coverage for 6 weeks, beginning mid-July with a potential extension. The provider will see between 28 and 35 patients of all ages per day, the majority of which being children. The provider will see cases involving upper respiratory issues, allergies, skin conditions, coughing, and small lacerations, and will be required to stabilize more serious patients until emergency medical services arrive. The provider will work from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. but may negotiate leaving at an earlier time. This facility currently uses eClinicalWorks EMR but is in the process of transitioning to Epic EMR and will provide training on the new system.
