Job summary valid drivers license Driver (Warehouse) Job Function: Under direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the valid drivers license Driver will make deliveries of materials and supplies as required regionally while complying with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Job responsibilities: Move trailers on site as needed to meet the needs of Shipping and Scheduling. Makes deliveries of materials and supplies as required regionally. Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Report defects, accidents or violations Ensures staging areas and loading docks and bays are clear of materials and obstacles Maintain all inventories in an organized detailed method. Occasional Vendor pick up runs. Exhibit ownership of daily responsibilities and administrative duties. Enable, encourage, and participate constructive communication between all departments.
