Job details 2nd Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, the region’s largest hunger fighting agency, annually distributing almost 54 million pounds of food and household items in a nineteen county region, is looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill the following position in our Charlotte warehouse: valid drivers license Class B Driver: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operates a commercial motor vehicle to make local & regional pickups from donors; transport product to partner agencies, branches, and other entities as needed; promptly and safely load & unload trucks on location & on-site deliveries; operated vehicles/machinery as necessary to complete deliveries; daily truck maintenance checks; weigh product brought back to food bank, tag, palletize, and put away in proper location; complete daily route sheets; assist in warehouse when not driving and/or as needed. The position reports directly to the Transportation Coordinator.
