Information Technology Supervisor - (Sioux City, IA)

Yankton School District is accepting applications for the following position: (IT) Info Technology Supervisor GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Oversees the operations of IT department. IT Supervisor plans, monitors and communicates job expectations to IT staff when installing, upgrading and maintaining technology systems including; databases, data communications, security systems, network and software programs. Duties include training and evaluating IT staff, scheduling projects, assigning tasks and ensuring district IT policies and procedures are followed. IT Supervisor creates and works within IT budget. IT Supervisor performs assessments on technology systems to ensure proper operations and identifies and troubleshoots IT issues that need to be addressed. Network security skills are required. QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year college program, two-year technical school program or trade school diploma; or 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and background.
