Automotive Maintenance and Service Technician - Central Services Major Functions The County of Volusia is seeking an Automotive Maintenance and Service Technician under the classification of Master Mechanic I for the Automotive Central Services--Fleet Management--Division. This position will be located in Daytona Beach, Florida and will be responsible for basic maintenance and repair of automobiles, trucks, specialized vehicles and/or construction equipment. Common duties for this position will include general scheduled maintenance such as fluid changes along with tire service and light mechanical work such as bulb replacements wiper blades and other minor repairs. The applicant must be a self-starter and strong team player. Excellent customer service is an essential component of being an employee of Volusia county; therefore the applicant must possess background and willingness to be a strong customer service agent. *Note: There may be a skills test required for this position.
