Job summary: Schedule Teammates through and delegate work assignments to the needs of the business and in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement (where applicable.) Support all company sponsored programs and initiatives in the center of the store . Effectively order and utilize supplies to maximize profitability. Control department costs by monitoring and improving operations to increase profitability. Oversee and evaluate training provided to Teammates to reduce turnover, promote efficiency and control labor costs. Effectively utilize PCSAM and the help chain to identify Problems, determine root Causes, generate practical and innovative Solutions, take Action and Measure results in a timely manner. Ensure that proper procedures are being followed so that the store meets out-of-stock percentage goal. Develop and implement merchandising plans using guidelines and suggestions in order to meet the financial objectives of the department.
