Physician Contracting Specialist - (Placerville, CA)

POSITION OVERVIEW Under the direction of the Contracts Department Supervisor, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Chief Ambulatory Officer (CAO) and CEO/Administrator, this position ensures the smooth coordination of all operational qualifications of expense contracting with special focus on physician contracting. Ensures the development, tracking and communication of all contract processes with hospital departments. Communicates contract implementation, education and interpretation to hospital staff, Medical Staff and Board of Directors. Works with minimal supervision, takes initiative in resolving contract issues and/or refers problems to the appropriate levels for resolution. The Physician Contracting Specialist is responsible for the oversight, management and maintenance of physician contracts, as well as monitoring regulatory qualifications related to physician contracting.
