Corrections Officer, Registered Nurse - (Toledo, OH)

Corrections Officer Lucas County Corrections Center and Lucas County Sheriff's Department) This position is responsible to provide day to day control and care of inmates housed in the Lucas County Correction Center or otherwise in the custody of the Sheriff: and who maintains the safety and security of the physical plant of the Lucas County Correction Center and the Sheriff. Registered Nurse This position is responsible for rendering nursing care to inmates confined at the Lucas County Sheriff's Office, Corrections Division within the scope of the nursing license through medical orders and treatment protocols of the responsible physician and under the direction of the nursing director. This includes providing medical care to inmates by assessing inmate health status through conduction health assessments, providing treatment, administration of medication and recommending follow-up care as needed.
