Sr Accountant - (Billerica, MA)

Job summary Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting in the month-end close, which includes journal entry preparation/approval, preparation of account reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. The successful applicant will have strong accounting background and a solid understanding of accounting systems. Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to): * Assistance of month-end corporate financial reporting * Assist in the processing of the month-end close and consolidation * Preparation of monthly account reconciliations * Assist in the preparation of schedules in connection with the annual audit. Assist in maintaining all control books for audits. * Perform ad hoc account analyses and other departmental tasks, as necessary Note: In addition to the Required functions, also performs similar work-related duties as assigned. Critical skills Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Knowledge of US GAAP and some IFRS
