* Performs all types of carpentry work in maintenance, repair, modification, and construction on all wood building structures and wood portion of masonry and steel structures from blueprints and specifications.* Repairs tables, cabinets, consoles, furniture, and other related cabinet making duties.* Repairs conventional and non-conventional roofing.* Work involves planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments, making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work and selecting materials necessary for the work.* Knowledgeable of, and capable of compliance with, the International Building Code (IBC) and Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) carpentry quality standards.
