Manufacturing Technician 2 - (Hoffman Estates, IL)

Acara Solutions is looking for Manufacturing Technician two for our client located in Hoffman Estates, IL Being able to isolate the defective components using diagnostic software. Must be able repair or replace defective components then retest and if unit passes all tests prepare computer for shipment to our holding center. During interview must be able to explain the operations of the components that comprise a basic computer. Required skills / Requirements: Associate's degree Min of two years' background in repairing various types of computers as well as server platforms. Min of two years' background in the troubleshooting and the repair of computers. Preferred Skills / Requirements: Min of 1 yr' Background in ms word, microsoft excel & other software packages is secondary to the expertise to repair computers. Candidates will be requested to demonstrate their technical skills. A repair tech that has soldering background. Please make sure candidates have this background.
