Telecommunications Engineer - (Birmingham, AL)

Position summary Individuals within this team are expected to leverage and maintain their background based ability in telco, telco network, IT, PBX and related telecommunication solutions enabling the troubleshooting and design consultation of our CallWorks NG911 call taking deployments. Primary assignments include: * Resolution of system/telco related support tickets escalated from level one or level two support * Travel to deployed systems to troubleshoot system related issues * Lead engagements as required with LEC and other telco or data service providers on behalf of our public safety customers to insure the most timely resolution. * Represent CallWorks as a subject matter expert (SME) of all telco related interfaces of a CallWorks solution in support of providing customers with potential solution options to enhance their operational capability.
