CNC Machinist - (Oak Ridge, TN)

Job overview: This position works within a precision machine shop environment at American Centrifuge Operations ? Oak Ridge (ACO-OR) to completely and independently setup, adjust, and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines, such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, boring machines, EDM, etc. to perform machining functions. The position will assemble, fit, test, and check precision machined parts and assemblies to specified operational, test and quality requirements and provide input to determine method and sequence of work operations. Machinist shall be able to collaborate with internal customers, support organizations, and supervisor to solve design and/or developmental problems. Perform all tasks involved in the coordination, preparation, and movement of materials for their assigned area. Machinists must be able to integrate into established processes for the correction of discrepancies and demonstrate pride and ownership of the work the produce.
