Director, Pharmacy Operations - (St Louis, MO)

POSITION DETAILS Responsible for the management and direction of Pharmacy Operations, specifically Patient Access, including but not limited to Clearance, Ship Clearance, Authorization/Reauthorization and GSM at appointed site(s). Works with Product, Account Management, Service Delivery, Corporate Finance as well as other cross functional teams to ensure quality and service standards are maintained along with client/payer specific contractual requirements. Responsible for strategic planning for the business unit. Develops policies, procedures and the business work plan for the assigned Patient Access department. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS * Manage and direct Patient Access operations at 1 or more site locations, maintaining and improving patient and client service through quality, accuracy and on-time processing of prescriptions. * Ensure department productivity and quality levels, identify opportunities to optimize operational efficiencies and cost controls.
