About Our Job As part of the DPR Community Recreation Division, our After School & Summer Programs offer a safe place for youth to get assistance with homework, have a snack, socialize, and exercise. The After School / Summer Instructor team is devoted to engaging the community through facilitating a wide variety of After School and Summer licensed programs and activities for a diverse group of youth, ages 5-16. Our Program Activities include (but are not limited to): Teen Adventure field trips including learning to scuba dive at A-1 Scuba & Travel, X-Arena, paddle boarding, and more Summer in the Parks/ Summer Day Camp activities including arts & crafts, active games & sports, aquatics, field trips & special events You can view our full current activity guide through the Denver Parks & Recreation Website.
