The Telemetry Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for monitored patients during their hospital stay including cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic stabilization, responsive to emergent situations, care of evidence based medicine patients and cardiac cath patients. The Telemetry / IMC Registered Nurse participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Requirements: Graduate of an licensed school Current RN licensure in the State of Texas or compact state required. BCLS ACLS RN s with more than one year of background will obtain certification within six months of employment. New RN/GN, ACLS, within 12 mnths of hire. Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.
