The primary purpose of this position is to to serve as a Combat Air Forces (CAF) Air Force Engineering and Technical Services (AFETS) Details Technology Specialist and network administrator. Monitors the Local Area Network (LAN)/ Wide Area Network (WAN), including the planning, analysis, acquisition, design, development of networked systems Responsibilities Incumbent conducts enterprise problem analysis to identify trends, ineffective practices or procedures, and equipment deficiencies shortcomings. Provides technical advice, assistance, and training to unit personnel. Plans for current and future technology integration and works compatibility and standardization issues based on current and projected customer needs. Implements and advises on IT security policies and procedures to ensure protection of details.
