Corporate Paralegal II - (Bethesda, MD)

Position overview: Successful applicant will assist lawyers in the Corporate Legal Group with corporate governance duties relating to Aetna's regulated subsidiaries. Duties include, but not limited to, incorporations, mergers, dissolutions, drafting board and shareholder resolutions and consents, responding to requests from external and internal constituents, including state insurance departments, regarding various corporate governance matters, and applying for new licenses. Position assignments: - Prepare documents and details requested during regulatory audits - Background working in health insurance preferred. - Demonstrated command or mastery of paralegal subject matter. - Conduct research to identify and resolve various corporate governance issues concerning regulated entities - Prepare and file required regulatory filings with the Departments of Insurance - Draft and track legal agreements
