Sales and Event Coordinator - (Gillette, WY)

Position details Overall Responsibility: The Campbell County, Wyoming, Convention & Visitors Bureau (CCCVB) is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic service-oriented event sales and services professional to help grow Campbell County's overnight tourism business. The successful Sales and Event Coordinator is a motivated self-starter, responsible for generating leads through direct sales efforts. This position also requires background in planning and coordinating/producing events, and the expertise to work with local partners and stakeholders on a variety of current, planned and future events. S/he will report to the Executive Director, CCCVB, and will collaborate closely to identify strategies to attract overnight business related to the group, sports, convention and events markets, to achieve annual lead, booking, room night and economic impact goals. This position will also be the CCCVB liaison to the Campbell County STAT (Sports Tourism Advisory Team). Duties and Responsibilities:
