Packaging Technician - (Gardner, KS)

Job description This person will mostly be washing and sterilizing portable tank. Under limited supervision, this position will work in a fast paced, environment performing production procedures in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This person must be self-directed often working independently. They must be detailed oriented. This position will perform the following functions and other tasks, as needed: The job area is often wet as washing tanks require copious amounts of water. The person must be safety oriented due to working with live steam, cleaning chemicals, pressurized tanks, pressurized with both air and steam. Must be able to function while wearing PPE. This person will operate production equipment, including start up, minor adjustments, and quality monitoring as required. Responsible for complete and accurate documentation. Clean and sanitize work areas as necessary, in accordance with SOPs.
