Bioinformatician - NGS ay Kit Development Job - (Sunnyvale, CA)

Seeking experience in the developing algorithms for genome analytical tools and as architectural developer of data resources, libraries and data integration methods to collaboratively support the development of diagnostic products involving nucleic acid sequencing. Must have knowledge of the following: *** Genomics and molecular biology fundamentals. *** Analyzing and applying data from sequencers such as Roche 454 System, Illumina GA/HiSeq or MiSeq System, Ion PGM from Ion Torrent, Pacific Biosciences Sequel, or similar. *** Designing computational techniques to identify the existence of nucleotide variants from the results of next generation sequencing. *** Using software to map low-divergent sequences against large reference genomes. *** Storing large nucleotide sequence alignments and manipulate alignments including sorting, merging, indexing and generating alignments.
