Position details: Novato Community Hospital is a 47-bed acute-care hospital located approx 30 mis north of San Francisco. It is a part of the Sutter Health network of doctors, not-for-profit hospitals and other health care service providers sharing resources and ability to advance health care quality and access in the more than 100 Northern California cities and communities.Assumes responsibility for the performance of most routine procedures offered by the laboratory. Maintains the highest test accuracy and reproducibility consistent with needs of the hospital medical staff. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for the overall efficiency of the laboratory. Assumes responsibility for specimen procurement, processing, and distribution.
