Medical Lab Scientist - (Steamboat Springs, CO)

Shift: Shift: seven FTE Status: Full-time FTE: FTE: Summary: Performs laboratory testing of patient specimens in 1 or more sections of the laboratory. Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens. Interprets, documents and reports test results. Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory qualifications. Performs projects as assigned as well as serves as a consultant to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the expertise to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast:paced environment and take appropriate action. Qualifications Min Required Education: Bachelors degree in related position and graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
