Position description: 13; 13; Position responsibilities: 13; The Security Officer is responsible for providing protective and enforcement functions in a courteous manner when faced with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats to life and property. They maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees and must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the company. Assignments include: Review all materials concerning arrival schedules for return guests, VIPs and dignitaries, daily events and function sheets. Provide accurate info when answering requests for directions, hours of operation for facilities, emergency instructions and other related issues. Project an image of friendliness, professionalism and willingness to provide personalized services to guests. Perform life safety techniques, such as CPR, as needed. Assist guests with door lock problems.
