Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-4p, some shift adjustment may be required periodically POSITION DETAILS: The Technical Specialist has the overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and evaluation of all technical and/or operational activities in Specimen Processing. Responsible for performing duties so as to operate the lab with the highest quality safety and integrity, and in an efficient, economical and businesslike manner are of utmost importance. POSITION ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Documents all competency testing assuring completeness and timeliness, and ensures that the appropriate corrective actions are developed and implemented, as needed. 2. Tracks the department monthly metrics. Reviews metrics with Specimen Service Supervisor and helps design and implement processes to demonstrate continued improvement. 3.
