Claim Supervisor - (Hastings, MI)

Hastings Mutual is currently looking for a Claim Supervisor. The individual in this role will provide coaching, development, training, supervision, and business result collection/analysis in a claim unit setting. Directs claim staff through proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of claims, including the maximization of all recovery opportunities, within the company's contractual and legal obligations while also ensuring timely service and appropriate payments to our customers. Reporting to the Home Office Claim Manager, this position will be based at our Hastings, Michigan corporate headquarters. Job responsibilities& Responsibilities Responsible for the overall supervision of a claim unit including performance management, hiring, and other Human Resource Management duties. Responsible for training, development, mentoring and coaching of claim professionals across multiple levels of background.
