Position details?Product Design Engineer position is with a global equipment manufacturer involving the mechanical design of new products cradle to grave from concept through development, field installation, production launch, and service including responsibility for BOM, modeling of parts, and maintaining and improving current products.Responsibilities Communicate with Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and Product Manager to understand and verify product qualifications and cost targets Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineer / Quality Associate for manufacturing documentation Customer interface and feedback of key features Analyze and identify risks Computer-based design and simulation Gain manufacturing inputs during Lean design activities Mitigate production issues through engineering and product managers Collaborate with ME/QA to assure successful manufacturing launch Support tech servicesRequirements B.S.
