Group Billing is within the Fortitude Re organization supporting the closed block service center. In this role you will support the processing of group billing and payments working along with providing support to teammates and handling escalations issues. Process a variety of group billing, premium, and file maintenance transactions to apply and reverse premiums, process mode changes, cancellations, lapses, and other transactions as relates to billing and collection. Respond to complex inquiries from a variety of customers. Recognize that each customer group (agents, brokers, payroll centers, policyholders, internal audit/compliance) has a different level of understand of the product and respond accordingly. Research and resolve complex suspense items under assigned desk code for reconciliation purposes, report total out-of-standard suspense items weekly.
