Product Designer ~ Greeting Cards - (Westlake, OH)

In this role, the Product Designer is responsible for the beginning, concept/planning phase of greeting card development through refinement, creation and/or preparation of art for reproduction using a wide variety of techniques, styles, and subject matter; requires the expertise to use drawing, design and typographic skills to produce strong, salable visual content for American Greetings greeting card product. Works as part of a very collaborative creative team, at American Greetings Creative Studios of the industry-leading social expressions company, and helps deliver on our mission statement to "Create Happiness, Laughter, and Love." Expected to: - Be a flexible, versatile team member in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment. - Collaborate effectively with your partners from other functional areas, such as Product Development, Editorial, and the Illustration Studio. - Proactively apply consumer trend analysis, market research, costing guidelines, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies.
