Director, Litigation Operations - (Colorado Springs, CO)

PURPOSE OF JOB We are seeking a Director of Claims Litigation for the San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Tampa, FL, Colorado Springs CO, or Chesapeake, VA Office. This is an in-office only position and is not a remote/work at home position. Manages unit of assigned Litigation Managers. Responsible for workflow, administration, developing employee computer skills, and evaluating performance of Litigation Managers. Provides high level technical advice and supervision on litigated cases. POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Assigns litigation/arbitration cases to litigation staff. * Manages workflow and ensures quality control. * Participates in case authority and strategy conferences on litigated cases. * Monitors and provides recommendations for retention of panel defense attorneys and firms. * Reviews, audits, and approves legal expenses and charges. * Responsible for hiring, employee development, performance evaluation, counseling, and all manager related administrative functions.
