CSS Web Developer, Magazines The CSS Web Developer works closely with Designers and Details Architects to help realize the magazine brand's look and feel on-line. The Web Developer also updates and troubleshoots existing CSS, when necessary. The ideal candidate is a standards enthusiast with at least 5 years professional web background, mastery of W3C Standards using "valid" hand-coded XHTML and CSS2, and the expertise to cleanly implement a UI across different browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari). The successful applicant has outstanding communication abilities; can multi-task/prioritize workload within aggressive deadlines; and is detail-oriented with a focus on accessibility and user background. Background of any of the following is a plus: Standards-based JavaScript (ECMAScript); DOM scripting; Flash; Interwoven TeamSite.
