Residential Care Advisor - Pittsburgh South - (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Residential Care Advisor position is a direct care position. This position is designed to provide individuals with mental health illness, quality care by teaching all appropriate living/social skills in order to enhance the individual's level of independence and helping our person served maintain his/her skill level to possibly move to a less restrictive setting. Some of the duties may include; preparation of meals, nutrition and wellness, physical fitness, administration of medication, assisting with personal hygiene, and transportation to appointments. In the event of unforeseeable emergencies, staff may be required to stay until relief arrives. Staff will be expected to relocate to another facility/program as needed to meet min staffing need for each site. Min Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Service OR High-school certificate OR Equivalent and 4yrs of paid direct care/social service background.
